Burning Man is an annual event that attracts around 80,000 free spirits, artists, and visionaries from around the globe. From August 24th to September 1st. Black Rock City will rise from the dust, offering a unique space where participants can express their artistic passions, build mind-blowing installations, and experience a temporary community like no other.
The culmination of the Burning Man event is of course the burning of the statue that gives the event its name, and this take place on the last night of the festival, and this will be watched live by thousands all around the world. The wooden effigy is around 50 feet tall and stands sentinel over the Black Rock site throughout the week's event before meeting its fate on that final evening. This symbolic ritual marks the culmination of a week of communal living, artistic expression, and personal growth.
Dates
Burning Man in 2025 will be held 24th August through to 1st September, and the Man Burns on 30th August. This year’s art theme is Tomorrow Today.
