Fair Park Fourth is the official title given to the 4th of July US Independence Day celebrations in Dallas, Texas. The celebration consists of a day of parties and celebrations, with live music and plenty of family friendly events culminating in a huge 4th July fireworks display in the city's iconic Cotton Bowl stadium later in the evening.

As the official Independence Day party for the city of Dallas the Fair Park Fourth is attended by large crowds that fill up the area throughout the day so it is wise to plan your day in advance to make sure you can get to where you need to be in plenty of time.

Fair Park Fourth Schedule

The 4th July celebration is a free event taking place throughout the day offering live music and entertainment, plenty of food and drink, and of course the spectacular July 4th fireworks display.

Things get started at Fair Park around 4.30pm until 10pm with free live entertainment, food trucks and activities!

The fireworks then commence around 9.40pm.

The best fireworks views are available from inside the Cotton Bowl Stadium and Fair Park.

Dallas is a great city to visit at any time of year and will be especially buzzing around the Independence Day celebrations so it is always wise to make your reservations well in advance if you are planning on staying over. Be aware that this part of Texas can get pretty hot in July, so a room with decent air conditioning would be a top recommendation!
