Nashville downtown 4th July

As you would expect, Nashville goes all in to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th, with the Independence Day celebrations being led by the Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th, presented by Dr Pepper. This is a free and family friendly event. The celebrations are then topped off with an incredible Fireworks display, touted to be one of the largest in the country!

As you would probably expect in Music City the live music is the focal point of the July 4 celebrations, and the free live concert that carries on throughout the day and brings a host of big names onto the city's iconic Broadway, right in the heart of Downtown.

4th July Concert

The headline performers in Nashville this July 4th is Brad Paisley, The War and Treaty, Langhorne Slim and Tiera Kennedy. There are also performances from Troubadour Blue, Les Kerr & The Bayou Band, The Magi and Nashville Symphony.

The free concert gets underway around 12 noon with the main stage this year, the Broadway Stage, located at First and Broadway.

For those bringing their kids along for the party then there will be plenty to keep them entertained during the day too - with food trucks and activites.

Fireworks

After the concert has finished, the crowds will head down to the Cumberland Riverfront and the Ascend Amphitheater, where the spectacular fireworks display will be launched, set to live music by the Nashville Symphony.

The fireworks start at 9.30pm and will last for around 31 minutes and 30 seconds, making this one of the biggest 4th July fireworks shows anywhere in the country.
