The Wawa Welcome America July 4th Concert and Fireworks for 2023 is going to be incredible this year. The festivities commence on Juneteenth (19 June) and go on through to 4th July, with dozens of events to choose from across the city.

This event replaces the previously popular Philly 4th July Jam, which was the focal point of the Independence Day celebrations in Philadelphia for many years previously. This year's Party on the Parkway has an amazing line up for you, with headliners Demi Lovato and Ludacris.

The main events in Philadelphia on the 4th July are the music concert, previously the 4th July Jam but now officially rebranded as the WAWA Welcome America 4th July Concert, a hugely popular event that draws huge crowds down to the city's iconic Benjamin Franklin Parkway and of course the July 4 fireworks display that take place at the end of the concert, and are centred on the waterfront at Penn's Landing and can be viewed right across the area. There's also the Salute To America Independence Day Parade at 11am at East Market Street.

The 4th of July celebrations in Philadelphia are the high point of the famous Wawa Welcome America festival hosted by the city each year. Gates open at 4pm with the main concert starting at 7pm, followed by the fireworks.
