Watch the Biden Inauguration Ceremony Live Streaming Online

The day has come for the inauguration of the 46th President of the United States. Alongside his vice president Kamala Harris.

The inuauguration ceremony takes place on Wednesday 20th January.

Things are obviously a lot different this year inline with ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and to keep everyone safe. There won't be any crowds on National Mall, instead people are encouraged to watch from the safety of their own homes. But don't worry, there will still be some amazing performances from Lady Gaga who will be singing the National Anthem, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Lopez and Garth Brooks will also be performing. The day's events looks to start at 11am (16.00 GMT) and around noon (17:00 GMT) Joe Biden will be sworn in by chief justice, John Roberts, while Kamala Harris will be sworn in by Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Biden will then make his inaugural address..

There won't be an inaugural ball, for obvious reasons, instead Joe Biden will be participating in the TV programme "Celebrating America".

At 3.15pm (20:15 GMT) after Biden and Harris have completed the Pass In Review and lain the wreath at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery, there will be a virtual "Parade Across America" and the big finale at 8.30pm (01:30 GMT) will be the "Celebrating America" event. Hosted by Tom Hanks with Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria, making introductions throughout the programme. Look out for some amazing performances from Jon Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Justin Timberlake, Demi Lovato, Foo Fighters, Ant Clemons, Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard
