New York St Patrick's Day Parade
It's time to get ready for one of the UK's biggest music festivals. The Isle of Wight festival, or simply IOW Fest is back this summer, drawing huge crowds, yet again, for the short trip across The Solent at the famous Seaclose Park venue.
Getting to the Isle of Wight festival is often an adventure in itself, with the remote island location making acsess some thing of an issue. Best advice is to make sure that you allow plenty of time to get to this site, expect heavy traffic and long delays, and, most importantly, pack and prepare with pretty much any weather conditions in mind - that means plenty of warm and waterproof clothing, sturdy shoes, and if you're camping, make sure to test your tent for weather proofing before you turn up!
The Isle of Wight festival in 2023 will be held 15th - 18th June.
The lineup for 2023 IOW fest includes the following:
Friday
Pulp, Courteeners, Onerepublic, Sugababes, Sophie Ellis-Bextor,
The Human League, Sabrina Carpenter, Peter Hook & The Light, Jamie

The most recent TV coverage from the Isle of Wight festival has been provided by the Sky Arts channel, and it is the same this year, with coverage on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8pm. You can watch Sky Arts online or via their mobile app easily enough if you have a subscription, but if not then your best option is probably to try NOW TV - you will need to pay, but can just get a pass to watch for a short period without subscribing. If you have Freeview go to channel 11.
Also be aware that they're currently offering a 7 day free trial, so you can actually watch the Isle of Wight festival for free as long as you remember to cancel:
Or go straight to their social media pages with Facebook or YouTube
For radio coverage the official broadcast partner for the festival is Absolute radio, which you can listen to online here:
