Reading Festival 2023

Live Stream, TV, Lineup, Set Times, Tickets, Dates

readingfest

The Reading Festival returns once again to it's famous Richfield Avenue festival site, offering the usual range of epic headline performers and top name acts, with the addition of the live stream coverage by the BBC now adding further to the accessibility of the event.

The Reading festival is actually part of a pair of festivals that take place in the UK on the August Bank Holiday weekend each year, in combination with a sister events in Leeds.

They haven't always taken place in conjunction, in fact Reading is actually the older sibling by several years, having first taken place way back in 1971 (in it's current guise, there was actually an even earlier event, the National Jazz Festival that took place in Reading even further back, in the 1960's) while the Leeds event didn't join in until 1999.

Taking place in the late summer, the weather tends to be pretty decent and they've been fairly lucky in managing to stage most years with relatively clear skies and their fair share of sunshine, always a bonus at an outdoor summer festival!
