Sonar Barcelona has been one of the biggest events on the European music festival scene for many years now, since its inception back in 1994.

Sonar is a huge event for the city of Barcelona, drawing in huge crowds and has spawned Sonar branded events in cities around the world over the years, with Sonar festivals having taken place in venues as diverse as Tokyo, Sao Paulo, London, Boston, Osaka and Los Angeles. This year an event has also been added in Hong Kong. Sonar has also been an early adopter when it comes to live streaming, see further down the page for how to watch the festival live online.

Sonar Barcelona in 2023 will be held 15 - 17th June 2023.

Sonar has been a leader in the introduction of live streaming to the music festival stream, providing a live webcast from all 3 days of the festival, as well as video on demand of the top performances after the event, bringing the performances to a much wider global audience.
