Candidates Chess Tournament 2024

Live Stream and analysis of the FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament

The Candidates Chess tournament takes place bi-annually. The next event will be held in Toronto 2024, and sees 8 of the top players in the world competing in a round-robin style event for the right to face the reigning world champion in the World Chess Championship.

Participants are chosen based on their world ranking over the previous year, with the addition of a wild card entry by the organisers.

Tournament Dates

The tournament takes place from the 3rd - 25th April 2024.
