The Denmark Open, previously known as the Danish Open, is one of the most prestigious annual tournaments on the badminton global calendar, with all of the games major players travelling to the Danish city of Odense for the Superseries Premier event.
In previous years the tournament was shared between different cities, with Aarhus, Aalborg, Copenhagen and Farum among those taking a turn but since 2008 Odense has been settled upon as the preferred venue, a choice helped by the opening of the new renovated Odense Idraets Park location, with a layout that allows the spectators very close to the action.
The Denmark Open in 2023 is scheduled to take place from Tuesday 17th October to Sunday 22nd October.
The full tournament schedule and order of play will be available closer to the time but normall follow this pattern.
Key dates include:
Friday October 20th: Quarter finals
Saturday October 21st: Semi finals
Sunday October 22nd: Finals
