Dublin Marathon 2023

Live Stream, TV Coverage, Route, Start Time, Schedule

Dublin river Liffey marathon

The Dublin marathon is another of the late autumn European marathons, taking place towards the end of October each year, in an event that has been taking place each year since 1980.

The marathon, as is now traditional, has now also been joined by a series of varying distance events that make up a series of athletic activity. These currently include 5 and 10 mile races as well as the increasingly popular 5k and of course the half marathon.

Known as one of the gentler courses covering relatively flat terrain the Dublin marathon is popular with professional athletes and competitive amateurs alike and has been increasing in participant numbers each year, with there currently being around 20,000 runners taking part,

Hotels and Accommodation

There are plenty of good quality hotels in Dublin and this is generally a relatively quiet time of year for tourism so you should be able to find some decent bargain prices.

You can check availability and make reservations for local hotels here.
