Rock n Roll Nashville Marathon 2023

The Nashville marathon, or to give it's full current title the Rock n Roll St Jude Nashville marathon, is the current incarnation of the former Country Music marathon which was first run in Nashville in the year 2000, is one of the larger marathon events in this part of the country with up to 30,000 runners taking part and has the added distinction of being a Boston marathon qualifying event.

Currently under the ever expanding auspices of the Rock n Roll marathon series, which also includes events in locations as diverse as San Diego, Las Vegas and Denver, the Nashville marathon event also now includes a half marathon and a 5k.

Date

The Rock n Roll Nashville marathon 2023 will take place on Saturday 22nd April.

Start time

The marathon gets underway at 7.20am starting at 8th and Broadway and has a time limit of 6 hours.

Half Marathon also starts at 7.20am on 8th and Broadway, with the 5k and the 6.15m starting earlier at 6.30am on 8th and Demonbreun

Course Map, Schedule

The course for the Rock n Roll Nashville marathon is relatively flat and follows a somewhat circuitous route without actually completing a full loop. The start line is on Broadway near the junction with 4th Avenue near the Bridgestone Arena, heads south as far as Clifton Lane before heading back north to finish at the Nissan Stadium. The marathon starts at 7.20am.

Hotels and Accommodation

Nashville is a great city to visit at any time of year, and in late April when the marathon takes place is a good time of year for some nice temperate weather. Hotel prices will be more reasonable at this time of year too.
