The culmination of the season, the World Series, attracts a huge amount of interest, watching on TV and on the live stream options that have proliferated in recent years.

The highlight of the Major League Baseball or MLB, the World Series pits the champions of the American League (AL) against their National League (NL) equivalent.

The World Series is competed over a theoretical 7 games, although it does stop once one team acquires an unassailable 4 wins. The home field advantage switches across the fixtures, with the bonus fixture and overall advantage decided by victory in the earlier All Star Game between the top players from both leagues.

Game schedule

The 2023 World series is scheduled from 27th October with game 7 (if needed) to be played on 4th November. The playoffs will be from 3rd - 25th October.

TV & Live Streaming

The World Series is finally catching up with the example so successfully demonstrated by the NFL with their Super Bowl and offering an online streaming option for fans to watch all the games online via their home PC or a wide variety of mobile and tablet options. This service is offered via the official MLB.tv website, is available in the US and Canada, and does require an authenticated subscription:
