ITU World Series Triathlon 2023

Triathlons are a test of endurance, mental and physical strength and at this years ITU World Triathlon Series, only the very best of the best will compete in becoming the next World Champion.

There are 7 locations this year hosting a triathlon event for the ITU World Triathlon Series which was introduced back in 2009. Unlike many championships it doesn't have just one day, winner takes all event, but 7 separate events which normally ends in Grand Final in Edmonton, Canada in August, but this year Pontevedra in Spain will be hosting the final a little later in the year.

This year the world's top triathletes will be once more compete head-to-head to establish ranking points that will determine the overall ITU world champion.

The eilite Sprint distance triathlon course will consist of a 750m swim, a 20km cycle finishing with a 5km run.

The full calendar for the 2023 ITU triathlon series has now been tentativel released, these of course may be subject to change so please do double check with organisers, the final in Pontevedra will take place 22 - 24 September:

Abu Dhabi, 3 - 4th March

Yokohama, 13 - 14 May

Cagliari - 27 - 28th May

Montreal 29 - 30th July

Sunderland, 29 - 30th July

Hamburg, Germany, 13 - 16th July

Finals at Pontevedra 22 - 24th September
